Background:
Jianwei is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering at Northwestern University. He received
his B.S. degree in Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua
University, Beijing, China.
Research Interests:
Jianwei's research interests are in the areas of
High-Performance Input/Output, Parallel File Systems, and
Parallel and Distributed Computing. He is working
cooperatively with computer scientists at Argonne National Lab
to develop parallel I/O libraries for high-performance
scientific computing. His Ph.D. thesis work will be focusing
on Parallel I/O for High-Performance Data-mining.
