Background:
Berkin is a Ph.D. student, under the supervision of Prof. Alok Choudhary, in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Northwestern University. He received his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering at Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey.
Research Interests:
Berkin's research interests are in the areas of High-Performance Data Mining, and Parallel and Distributed Computing. He is currently working on characterization of data mining applications.
